Ordered an hour in advanced but when I came it wasn't ready. Elderly lady took the order and her coworker said she does forget sometimes but no biggie because this is always a party hit! Sometime we have to give grace to people. Will come back for sure
7/27/2024, It's been a year since I ordered from Irma's. Nothing has changed. Irma's food remains top of the world.
Stumbled upon this filipino restaurant while in the Mission with my friends. I got a 1 item combo. I'm not too sure what the entree item I got was called, but it was coconutty and delicious! My friends got silogs and sisig which were very good as well. There was a decent amount of seating inside, and lots of entree dishes to choose from. The only thing that wasn't great about my experience here was they had mentioned my dish was jackfruit.. so to clarify, I asked "there's no meat in there? its jackfruit?" which they replied looked at each other, paused and said "no... there's meat too". Unfortunately, there was no meat in the dish (meaning pork or something of that sort) which I was extremely disappointed with. The sauce and flavoring was overall great but I thought it was meat and it was not. Didn't want that to ruin my review or rating, as the dish was still good and everyone else's food was good too!
The lumpia here is so good and I love their breakfast silogs. Don't forget to ask for the sawsawan Probably my most ordered place on DoorDash. Ang sarap! Kain na!
I ordered Irmas on Doordash. Ordering was simple, and they have a catering option for a small selection of 100-piece lumpia and small or large party platter size pancit. We ordered for pickup to be dropped off around 10-10:20am. I was a bit nervous as my door dasher went to pick up around 9:50 and they were cooking my order still, but it came just in time! The food was delicious! The size small pancit platter fed around 25-30 people and we still had at least one serving full leftover. Both pancit and lumpia came steaming hot and ready to eat and was delicious! Lumpia was crispy. Came with dipping sauce enough for 100. There isn't a lot of catering options for Filipino food on doordash, and I am grateful to have Irma's Pampanga Restaurant as an option!
The lumpia shanghai party trays are great! Always fresh and they give a big container of sweet chili sauce too. No need to order far in advance, just give them a call at least 20 minutes before you want to pick up and they'll be ready. Price is super reasonable ($40 for 100 pcs). Always a crowd pleaser!
My old neighborhood I grew up in has a little thing of everything and this includes a good Filipino food spot to get some delicious adobo chicken and pork. The flavor was tasty and the sauce complimented the rice. The price is a bargain when in comes to San Francisco pricing. I will be going to this place again when I get back to the hood. A must try if you are in the area.
Ok so this spot looks basic and is easy to walk past, but tbh, the places with the best food usually aren't flashy. This place is one of those. It has a diner like set up and those classic Filipino dishes taste like they're homemade. The pork Tocino with garlic rice and eggs is my Filipino go to dish and this did not disappoint. The meat was sweet and savory, packed with flavor and the rice had crispy garlic fried into it and was dripping with the Tocino meat juice. I loved it, and it was a very reasonable price, after tax and tip like 11 bucks!
